The brand unveiled a series of ‘phygital’ Treasure Trunk NFTs on June 6. These unique digital assets offer their owners exclusive privileges such as access to upcoming products, immersive experiences, and membership in a community of like-minded individuals.

Each of these distinctive tokens, priced at €39,000 (equivalent to over $41,000), will have a limited production run of a few hundred pieces. To complement each “Treasure Trunk” NFT, a custom-made physical Louis Vuitton trunk will be provided, which typically sells for tens of thousands of dollars.
According to the Vogue Business, the brand plans to offer additional benefits to NFT holders periodically throughout the year. Moreover, Treasure Trunk owners will have the chance to acquire digital keys enabling access to forthcoming phygital Louis Vuitton NFT collections.
Starting from June 8, interested individuals, limited to residents of the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Germany, Japan, and Australia, can join a waitlist by registering. Subsequently, selected registrants will be invited by Louis Vuitton the following week to purchase a Treasure Trunk using cryptocurrency or traditional currency on a dedicated website.
